I am kind of proud of myself today! I decided I was going to learn how to get my wife a website without having someone else do it for me. Surprisingly enough I actually did it and it only took a few hours. She had the domain and after a few lessons on Lynda.com, I had set everything up on her domain to get WordPress up and running.
Once WordPress was installed on her domain I was checking out themes with her, adding pages, even posting with pictures. I really thought this was going to take a month or so of tutorials and a lot of late nights, but as it turned out, just a few hours was all that was needed and she is up and running. She has not gone live yet, but when she does I will add a link to this post.
Anyway, I just thought I would write about this as it was something I always wanted to try, but thought it would be too much trouble. Well I stand corrected, and am quite happy to be wrong.
